Claims

Assisting customers with their claim issues is the goal of the Cassady Neeser & Brasseur Claims Management Group.

Following are services provided by the Cassady Neeser & Brasseur Claims Management Group.  Selected services are provided as needed, or as contractually agreed upon with the respective Account Manager and/or Producer.

Some of these services may be included in your package, or may be provided on a fee-for-service basis.

Monitoring Specific Claims

This service can be provided for any account where a difficult claim exists as identified by the Account Manager, Client or Claims Management Specialist.  This service includes intervention to assure protection of policy holder’s rights and to settlement of a claim in a timely and responsible manner.

Claims Reports

Claims reports can be provided when requested by the Client and/or Account Manager.

Claims Review Meetings

Claims meetings are pre-arranged and facilitated through a Client Business Plan.

Workers Compensation Claims Review

Claims review prior to unit stat card submission is provided for Workers Compensation customers when requested by the customer and/or customer account executive.

Review of Workers Compensation

We will review the workers compensation experience modifier at the policy to determine (1) if re-filings are possible and (2) what advantage to the client might exist for re-filing.  This service is provided as part of the experience mod reconciliation process.

Medical Clinic visit

When needed, meetings are arranged between the customer and area medical clinics to gain familiarity with their services, procedures and requirements.

We are your Partner and Advocate in the claims process.

  • Most claims are reported to Cassady Neeser & Brasseur, so we can be involved in the claim resolution process.  Workers Compensation claims are reported directly to the insurance company, but we want to know about the difficult claims in order to help keep the claim cost low and settled fairly.
  • We also have the experience to monitor claims reserves.  We communicate with adjusters regarding developments that will promote appropriate reserve adjustment and closure of claims.
  • We can assist with subrogation to recover from the wrongful party and keep your loss experience low.
  • We file the SR21 State Accident Proof of Insurance.
  • We can assist you with a Return to Work program.  A good RTW program provides many benefits for the employer and employees.
  • We are on the Agency Draft Program.  This allows us to process claims in-house and expedite your auto repair claims.
  • We also have the expertise to evaluate loss experience for trends and provide a loss prevention plan to help reduce those loss trends.
  • We are your claims resource.  We can answer questions that you may have regarding insurance or specific claims.
